ReportBeam expands to include additional forms (Incident Report, Field Interview etc) in Union City, GA.

ReportBeam showed just how extensible it truly is in Union City, GA. Within a matter of weeks, ReportBeam was able to provide additional report types including the Incident Report, Field Interview Tracking report and a Private Property crash report (in addition to the standard crash report).

The system was quickly adopted by the officer's who saw the entire process requiring very little training to produce professional reports through the ReportBeam system. Now Union City, GA has a complete solution allowing for the completion of their reports, statistical analysis capabilities and the ability to sell applicable reports over the internet.

" To my surprise, it took me only about five hours to train the entire uniform division (35 officers) over a couple of days to use the software. Never have we implemented something so easy. In fact, our report numbers increased about 7% in the first couple of weeks. I attribute this to officers being so comfortable with the software they are more inclined to prepare reports as compared to the previous software we were using. "

Officer feedback creates new feature-rich version of ReportBeam client

ReportBeam provides a complete traffic collision reporting system focused on creating safer communities. Law Enforcement agencies can complete their state collision reports electronically and then submit the reports to a centralized data system.

The newest version of the ReportBeam client software (version 3) has been officially released after an extensive beta and focus group cycle.

The newest version of ReportBeam includes the following enhancements:

  • Updated and enhanced user interface. The interface has been modified to make jumping between form pages extremely easy, along with the addition of supplemental form pages.
  • Dataclips technology – dataclips allow an officer to cut and paste large common sections of text from one area to another. For example, with the click of a button, an officer can cut and paste the entire contact information for an involved party from one section to another section on the form. This technology allows a form to be completed quicker and more accurately than before.
  • Magnetic-stripe Driver’s License support – ReportBeam now supports the swiping and reading a driver’s license and automatically allowing that information to be pasted into the program.
  • Enhanced business rules support allowing for a large number of additional business rules/data validations to help ensure the report is completed correctly the first time.
  • GPS Import support – ReportBeam now allows for the importation of GPS coordinates to be attached to the completed report, providing exact collision location data.
  • Additional form support - ReportBeam can now support additional forms such as DUI forms, citation forms and vehicle inspection forms.

Please contact Keegan Kinney at (888) 828-0383 ext 215 to find out more information about the ReportBeam upgrade.
